If you are using big areas of black in your artwork for example, a black background – we recommend setting your black as C 30%, Y 0%, M 0%, K 100% instead of just K 100% to make the black richer. Try not to make your colours too light – CMYK colour values should be kept above 10% for each colour value. If you have A4 size artwork that needs reducing to A5 size or A4 size enlarging to A3 size or similar, we can easily reduce or enlarge your PDF file for you at the printing stage, just let us know in the notes box at the checkout.
Scans and images should be 300dpi or above to avoid pixel images. All colours, images and photos, should be in CMYK format if possible, we will convert RGB images to CMYK which might create colour shifts.
